2019-20 Schedule
2019-2020 - our 20th anniversary!
As a way to acknowledge our 20th anniversary, and in response to some input from participants, we are trying some changes to the WOGAP calendar. This year, we will have 6 regular WOGAP sessions - 2nd Thursday of the month, pre-read paper and discussion with dinner - in September, October, November, February, April, May.
We will also host two Friday workshops with four speakers each time.
On regular WOGAP Thursdays, food and conversation available at 6pm in MIT's Stata Center (Building 32), in room 32-D461. We usually start around 6:15-6:30 and end at 8:00. Afterwards everyone is invited out for drinks at a nearby pub for continued conversation and networking. See "directions" tab for directions.

March 12: NO regular WOGAP - instead special workshop on Friday March 13 on Autonomy under Conditions of Domination. CANCELED! - in order to avoid risk of exposure to COVID-19. We will reschedule next year.
Confirmed speakers include: Alisa Bierria, Serene Khader, Xhercis Méndez, Manuel Vargas.
April 9: No in-person meeting, due to coronavirus restrictions. Alternative plans in progress.
May 14: Robin Zheng (Yale-NUS) - Zoom meeting. Details TBA.
If you would like to volunteer to circulate your work for a workshop, email Sally. Note that we do not have funding for travel or provide an honorarium. We do serve you dinner and take you to drinks after. If you need a place to stay in the Cambridge-Boston area, we can find someone for you to stay with.
